Business account information: Name, email address, and business details provided during registration.
Customer contact information: Names, phone numbers, and email addresses of customers managed by businesses using Amplio.
Messages: SMS, email, and social media messages sent and received through our platform.
Job and appointment data: Scheduling information entered by businesses.
Facebook/Instagram data: If you connect a Facebook Page, we receive messages sent to that page via the Meta Messenger API.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
Provide and operate the Amplio platform
Enable businesses to communicate with their customers via SMS, email, and social media
Send appointment reminders and follow-up messages on behalf of businesses
Generate AI-powered reply suggestions using conversation history
Sync appointments with Google Calendar when authorized
4. Facebook and Instagram Data
When a business connects their Facebook Page to Amplio:
We receive messages sent to the Page via the Meta Messenger API
We store message content to display in the Amplio inbox
We use the Page Access Token solely to send and receive messages on behalf of the business
We do not sell or share Facebook/Instagram message data with third parties
Businesses can disconnect their Facebook Page at any time from the Amplio settings page
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share data with:
Telnyx: For SMS delivery
Anthropic: For AI reply suggestions (message content only, not personal identifiers)
Google: For Calendar integration when authorized
Meta: For Facebook/Instagram messaging via their API
6. Data Retention
We retain message and customer data for as long as a business account is active. Businesses may delete customer records at any time from within the platform. Upon account deletion, all associated data is removed within 30 days.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure session management to protect your data.
